Havok Core Raid Force

Havok shall maintain a core raid force. These shall be the members of the guild, and select players from outside of the guild, that are dedicated to doing raid nights and progressing the force through raid content. Once a member is on the core raid force, they shall retain their reserved slot as long as they maintain minimum requirements.

The following apply to core raid force members:

Core raid force members do not sign up for raids. Their spots are reserved and they are expected to be at the raid unless prior notice is given to the raid leader or one of the officers. If a member cannot attend, at least 2 hours notice must be given prior to the raid.

Core raid force members are required to attend 2/3 of Havok hosted raids each month to maintain their slot. If a core member does not make 2/3 of the guild raids for two consecutive months, they shall lose their reserved spot and their spot will be filled by another of appropriate class. Exceptions shall be made at the discretion of the officers due to real-life obligations such as vacations, work trips, etc. as long as there is prior notice.

Core raid force members shall have loot priority over guests and alts, even if said guest has more DKP. Alliance members are handled as members in terms of DKP and loot.

There may be nights that core members are asked to sit out of a raid or particular fight due to specialized raid make-up that is needed to succeed. In the event that a member is asked to sit out of a raid, they shall still earn full DKP for the raid night as long as they are online and available to be pulled into the raid if needed. The member shall be required to send a tell to the raid officer at the beginning and at the end of the raid to get credit and earn their DKP for the night.

In the event that a member is late to the raid without prior notice, their spot shall be filled by another person who is on time.

Havok Waiting List

Once all Core Raid Force slots are filled, any member who wishes to raid shall be placed on a waiting list provided that they meet the minimum requirements to raid. The waiting list shall be maintained on the guild forums in the Membership section.

Once a spot in the raid force opens, the member of the appropriate class that is highest on the waiting list shall fill the spot.

In the event that a core raid force member cannot make a raid, replacements shall be pulled from the waiting list first to fill the spot.

Policy for Transfering Core Raid slots to Havok members

In the event that a full member of Havok that meets the requirements to raid wants to join the raid force who's spot is filled by a player not in Havok, the following shall apply:

The outside member of the raid force shall be notified that a Havok member is claiming his/her spot. At this point, the outside member will have two options.

They will have two weeks in which to decide if they wish to join havok as a full member. If they decide to do so, they shall retain their raid spot and the Havok member shall remain on the waiting list.

If the outside member does not wish to join Havok, they shall lose their core raid slot and the Havok member shall take their place. The outside member will still be able to raid with Havok provided there are open spots, but will then fall into guest rules for earning DKP. As an alternative, if the outside member has an alt that fulfills the requirements to raid, and Havok has an open slot for that class, they may remain on the core raid force with their alt and transfer the remaining DKP to that character.
